Payment schedule for all grades
A full month’s tuition deposit is due both on May 1, 2017 and June 1, 2017 to hold your child’s place for fall. These two payments are NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of early withdrawal or non-attendance. (Your May 2017 and June 2017 deposit is your May 2018 and June 2018 tuition in advance.)
Eight payments are due during the school year on the first of each month, September through April.
Late payments/NSF checks
Any payment received after the 7th of the month will be subject to a $20 late charge to be paid the next month. NSF checks will be assessed a $25 fee.
There is a 2% discount for tuition paid in full by May 7. A one-time payment of $9408 (for one student) must be received no later than May 7th, 2017 to qualify for this discount. The “paid in full” amount for two children (with the 4% sibling and the 2% paid-in-full discounts) is $18,440.
There is a 4% discount on the younger child’s tuition if a family has two or more children at Tilden School. The monthly sibling tuition amount is $922. The monthly amount for two children (with 4% sibling discount included) is $1882.
Tilden School works hard to keep tuition as affordable as possible while continuing to provide an excellent education. We do not require our families to fundraise or contribute to provide scholarships; tuition does not include any extra amount to subsidize scholarships. Therefore, we do not provide financial aid.
