Julie has been a part of Tilden School since 1987, when she joined as a parent, and soon began teaching students to use computers (Commodore 64s🦕!) She is mother to two Tilden graduates and grandmother to another; a second granddaughter is a current Tilden student. IRL, Julie lives with her husband in West Seattle, where she makes bobbin lace, reads science fiction, listens to opera, and carries out the wishes of two cats. She has a B.A. in Philosophy from Colorado College (1978).
